Here at Cumberland Animal Hospital, we do our best to provide you with quality care at a reasonable price. We do our best to work with everyone’s budget to try and provide your animal care. However, that does not mean we are inexpensive. Unfortunately, the cost of everything has skyrocketed over the last few years. However, we still are here to provide you with the best care and when needed can offer referrals to specialty hospitals. We will always do our best to provide some care for you and your pets.
We provide wellness exams and can do yearly lab work on your pet to help you catch things early or trend values over the years as your pet ages. We are able to provide in-house CBC, Chemistries, Urinalysis, Heartworm testing, Radiographs (even with sedation), Vaccines, and some surgeries (please call us to verify the kind and average cost). We do not hospitalize since there is no one here overnight to watch and care for your pet. If this is needed we will refer you. We are able to schedule NON urgent Ultrasounds and Echos on a needed basis as well.
Most days we can provide urgent care (eg non-emergency care) For example your pet developed an ear infection, is throwing up occasionally, soft stool etc. However, this is NOT a guarantee. We recommend calling us and we will determine if we can see you, schedule an appointment for a later date, or refer you to Points East Emergency Veterinary Hospital.
Also, we can provide basic hygiene care. We are able to provide baths, nail trims, ear cleaning, and potty patches for our current patients. We can also board our current patients.
At Cumberland Animal Hospital we offer boarding, but only to our current veterinary clients.
We will do our very best to make your pet’s stay with us a happy and comfortable pet boarding experience. We will take care of your pet and their needs as if they were our own. Our staff is highly experienced and trained to care for your pet and to report any problems to the attending veterinarians .
Even with the best care, pet boarding can be stressful because your pet is in a new environment and its routines and habits are interrupted. Stress is minimized at Cumberland Animal Hospital by expert staff, attentiveness and proper handling, and strict cleanliness.
We want to make sure that your pet receives the proper food and medications while boarding with us. Please bring all medications and special foods they are currently taking. Call or contact us today to learn more about our boarding services, specials, and add-ons. We do baths and can trim nails as well. We also offer day boarding for our veterinary clients.
Please remember, your pet must have their yearly exam with us up to date, and all required shots completed to board!

They see all of our personal furry family members & both of my sister's have also became clients of Cumberland Animal Hospital. Again, we see them often; it's legitimately one of our children's favorite places to go. Dr. Geiger & (Jenn and Elise - who ALWAYS helps us and Lambeau and is there a lot during boarding :/ I'm obviously exhausted) both hold a very special place in their hearts because of the time they take with them, explaining whatever process they may be doing and by making sure they know how to be responsible pet owners (medical jars of fun organs and parasitic worms are just an awesome perk, haha).

Dr. Geiger and her team of amazing women, also legitimately saved my sister's newly adopted kitten's life. Literally, as soon as I heard all the going-ons with her kitten, all I knew was that we had to get her in to see Dr. Geiger. After a very thorough, methodical attack plan to save her kitten - it all worked & it wasn't a crazy monetary amount (it wasn't the unfortunate, typical, immediately jumping to spending thousands of dollars, etc...); just correct judgment on the treatment plans to get her healthy. She is THRIVING & my sister is beyond grateful.
